Electronic Document Management System (E-Filing)

The electronic document management system (E-Filing), in accordance with 465-RICR-10-00-1-1.5 of the Rhode Island State Labor Relations Board’s Rules & Regulations, governs the electronic filing of all correspondence and documents submitted to the Rhode Island State Labor Relations Board (RISLRB) that are filed on or after January 1, 2016.

Electronic filing is mandatory. Electronic filing of all documents filed in proceedings commenced on or after January 1, 2016, is mandatory unless otherwise authorized by the RISLRB Rules and Regulations, 465-RICR-10-00-1-1.5(A)(1). If a proceeding commenced prior to January 1, 2016, all subsequent documents filed in that proceeding shall be electronically filed unless otherwise authorized by RISLRB Rules and Regulations.

Protected and confidential information. The registered user is responsible for ensuring that confidential information and protected information is properly redacted from documents that are filed through the e-filing system, in accordance with 465-RICR-10-00-1-1.6(C)(1) and
465-RICR-10-00-1-1.6(C)(2).
All documents filed in the e-filing system are subject to public inspection, unless exempted by Board’s Rules and Regulations or another provision of law. 

In order to register for an account with the Board’s electronic document management system, you must accept the terms and conditions of the "User Agreement". Failure to accept these terms will not allow you to register with the Board.

The Board may refuse to allow an individual to electronically file or download information in the electronic document management system due to misuse, fraud, or other good cause.
